At the inn, there is an array of other travellers including a warrior, a mother and son and a monk. Dried bodies, water that wards off monsters and the villager's suspicious activity begin a series of events which reveal the village's dark truth. This also sets a plot of war between races and clans further into motion between humans and vampires (not the sparkly kind, these are tribal and go around in UFO's.)This work won the Best Art Award at the Asia Issued Comics Summit in 1999.
